Professional Experience

Karen started as a conveyancer in 1996 and has worked alongside Mark since 2007. Beyond her wealth of experience, she is particularly renowned for her calmness under pressure.

Karen enjoys working at Torode Advocates for the family atmosphere and loves working for a team that looks out for each other. She believes in providing a professional approach without being corporate and is never more satisfied than when facilitating happy clients moving into their new homes.

Beyond the day job

Karen enjoys driving and maintaining her 1971 MG Midget, called Bridget.  She is a member of the Guernsey Old Car Club and participates in a number of activities with them.  She is also an avid gardener and grows a lot of her own fruit and vegetables.  A member of the Guernsey Scottish Association, Karen regularly participates in Scottish Dancing.  Karen also loves travelling and the next holiday is always being planned with cruising and driving holidays being top travel activities.
