Professional experience

Sharon has worked in property since 2003, having spent time in estate agency and surveying roles before moving to legal. Apart from her conveyancing work, she is responsible for Torode Advocates’ bank clients requiring security for their lending against properties (by way of bonds).

Sharon feels very lucky to love what she does for a living and to count her colleagues as good friends. This is testament to the close-knit team environment that has been vital to Torode Advocates’ success. Sharon has embraced additional responsibility since the firm opened and has been humbled by clients’ wonderful and positive feedback.

Beyond the day job

In 2018, Sharon decided that she needed a lifestyle change. She, quite literally, stopped driving and started walking – everywhere. She now walks to and from work every day, with longer adventures at weekends. Sharon then took this to the next level and started running and, with a little bit of sea swimming thrown into the mix, has felt enormous benefits both physically and mentally.
